Entrance Fees – Admission fees to historical monuments, museums, and other attractions are not included. This ensures you only pay for the sites you truly wish to visit.
Vehicle Comfort – A 4×4 vehicle is ideal for up to 4 adult passengers for maximum comfort. For groups of 5 or more, a spacious, air-conditioned van will be provided to ensure a comfortable ride throughout your journey.
Recommended Departure Time – We suggest starting your day between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM to make the most of sightseeing opportunities and avoid midday heat in certain regions. Departure times, however, can be adjusted upon request.
Luggage – Standard luggage and a small day bag per person are recommended. Your main luggage will be stored securely during desert activities.
Travel Essentials – We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and seasonal clothing. A warm jacket is advisable for desert nights, even in warmer months.
Special Requirements – Please inform us in advance if you have dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, or special occasions (honeymoon, anniversary, birthday) so we can make your trip extra special.
We recommend packing light, breathable clothing for the day, including long sleeves and trousers for sun protection. A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential. Comfortable walking shoes or sandals are ideal for the camel trek. Since desert nights can be chilly, especially in winter, pack a light jacket or warm layers. Don’t forget your camera, reusable water bottle, and any personal medication you may need.
The best times to enjoy Morocco’s desert landscapes are in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when temperatures are moderate and the days are pleasantly warm. Summer can be extremely hot in the desert, while winter nights can be very cold, but both seasons still offer beautiful experiences with proper preparation.
Camel rides are a unique and memorable experience, offering a traditional way to cross the dunes. While not as smooth as a car ride, most travelers find them enjoyable, especially for short distances. If you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange a 4×4 transfer to and from the desert camp.
The drive from Casablanca to Merzouga covers approximately 670 km (416 miles) and typically takes around 10–11 hours, not including stops for sightseeing, meals, and rest breaks. For comfort and to make the journey more enjoyable, the trip is usually divided over two days with interesting stops along the way.

Yes, meals are included during your desert experience, typically dinner and breakfast at the desert camp. Other meals along the route are not included, allowing you to choose from local restaurants and sample different regional dishes. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.
