Day 01: Casablanca – Casablanca Sightseeing

Your Casablanca tour with Wow Morocco Tours starts from the airport. Our drivers will pick you up as soon as you arrive and take you to your hotel in Casablanca. Depending on the time of your arrival, the tour will be customized to make you enjoy every minute of it. So, you will be served a delicious meal as soon as you arrive, and if time allows you will explore some Casablanca sites such as the Hassan II mosque, Morocco Mall shopping center and a nearby beach area.

Day 02: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaoun

After spending the night in the hotel , the Casablanca tour out starts by visit Hassan II Mosque then heading to Rabat(the Moroccan capital) where you will visit THE Royal Palace, Chella (the ancient city in Rabat) , Mohamed V Mausoleum and HASSAN Tower, in addition to other places like the traditional souk, the medina and Kasbah of the Udayas which is in the moth of Bou Regreg River after that you will be heading to the blue City of Chefchaoun and you will stay at a Raid with a view of the blue city After check in, you’ll have free time to explore the blue pearl .

Day 03: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes

After a wonderful night in the riad, the following morning will start with breakfast then you start out towards Volubilis (the ruins of an ancient beautiful Roman city). In the road to Volubilis, you will pass through Ouazzan and other cities. In Volubilis, you will enjoy the historical landscape, our team take you to visit the Roman ruins and let you explore the archeological site and its history. After visiting the ruins, you will continue the journey to Meknes, a city with a 17th century heritage.

The team will stop in this place for lunch and give you the chance to explore the huge historical walls of the medina, visit Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail’s shrine. After that, you’re going stay in a Riad in the Medina, and spend the night enjoying your stay the ancient medina of Meknes.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing 

The next morning of the Casablanca Tour, you will have breakfast in your riad and start the day by heading to Fes, a 1-hour drive, where you will explore one of the oldest cities in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco (an ancient Jewish headquarters which was built during the 16th century).

Our team will ensure that you visit all important cultural and historical monuments, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Morocco and the World, the Attarine Museum, the Tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After having lunch, our team and you will pay a visit the tiles cooperative to see how they work. After that, you will get a wonderful panoramic view over the whole medina of Fes. You will spend the night in one wonderful Medina Riads.

Day 5: Rest morning in Fes and afternoon direction to Midelt.

You will leave Fes about 12:30 travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful mountain city, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, because of its landscapes, and then to Midelt city. In this journey you’ll enjoy glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains. Passing through Azrou and its large forest which is considered the biggest forest s in Morocco – where you will see apes. After a break, within the forest, your travel keeps moving to Midelt and its great hills and the neighboring mountains.

Day 6: Midelt, Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Sahara Desert. 

The day of the Casablanca tour starts with breakfast in your hotel; our team and you will direct to Merzouga through Errachidia. And you will go through the fascinating Tizi(pass) N Tlghamt and the Ziz Gorge, overviewing the High Atlas plateau. You’ll observe how the scenery changes to reveal beginnings of the desert as you come closer the city of Errachidia, where you will have lunch and see the Berber hospitality and generosity.

After this, you will travel alongside the fantastic Ziz Valley, having a break for panoramic sightseeing along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.  Our team and You will arrive at Merzouga afternoon. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you start your camel ride to spend an overnight at the desert camp with Berber music and sand boarding.

Day 07: Sahara Desert area

After breakfast in the Riad/Camp you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan -to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga (Full of water only if it rains) with its bird populations.

Another important location to visit is the Rissani city with it’s amazing traditional market especially in the three market days (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday). The city used to be the main meeting spot for different caravans coming from other African countries like Mali before they move to the north of Morocco and then to Europe. After that you will come back to Merzouga to rest before you continue your Journey the following day.

Day 08: Sahara Desert – Toudgha Gorge – Dades Valley

In the morning, we will get up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise on the dunes then walk back to the camp to have breakfast and you may have a shower before taking camel ride back to parking where your driver/guide is waiting to continue the tour. After that, you’ll leave to Tinghir and the Toudgha Gorge and finally arrive in the Dades Valley, where you will have a dinner and spend the night (It’s possible to spend the night in other cities which are closer to Dades valley, such as (the capital of roses) Kelaa Magouna, Sakoura or Ouarzazate).

Day 09: Dades valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Your day, as usual, begins with breakfast in the hotel, and you will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route across Dades Valley offers numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots for the trip in the valley, which is famous for its roses and the cinema city of Ouarzazate.  You will pass by Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. It is now a UNESCO heritage site. After that, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains with a variety of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech Sightseeing

After breakfast in the riad, you will start exploring “The reddish city from which Morocco got its name in French or other languages “Marrakesh”.  Our team will make sure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the Jamaa El Fna square, you will walk through the souks (local markets) and view hundreds of handicrafts. In the Afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself through the other parts of the city.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

In the morning (we’re flexible so you will discuss the exact time with your driver) , Our driver will take to the famous Gnawa city of Essaouira (about 3 hours) to enjoy one of the best coasty small cities in Morocco with a long history as it contains an old Medina behind the sea, you will be dropped off in your Hotel and have free time to explore the city .“ you do not need a local guide because it’s small.”

Day 12: Essaouira – Casablanca
